Are you a natural leader with a passion for helping others and driving change, who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment? We’re seeking a Training Manager to work within the management team training our dedicated team of volunteers working in our multi-channel advice service, delivering life-changing support to those in need.
Responsibilities include recruitment of volunteers, designing, managing and delivering multi subject training in the main advice enquiry areas including welfare benefits, housing, debt, and employment to cohorts of volunteers.
Working closely with the Advice Manager you will develop and deliver high quality training programmes, ensuring all volunteers are appropriately supported and trained to deliver the highest quality of advice.
It is essential that candidates have a thorough understanding of the main advice enquiry areas including welfare benefits, housing, debt, employment and experience of advice delivery in some of these areas. Candidates should have a combination of the following attributes:
Train & Develop Volunteers: Provide comprehensive training, ongoing support, and coaching to volunteers, helping them build their skills and confidence in delivering high-quality advice.
Excellent and effective communicator with the ability to deliver training to a high standard.
Experience, or be willing to acquire skills, in training, improving and developing staff and volunteers knowledge and skills.
Experience of working with colleagues to maintain a positive working and learning environment, ensuring equality and diversity principles are upheld
Even if you don’t have all the skills required, please consider applying as we are willing to consider appointing the right candidate as a training and development role.
